Culinary College Icarus

Icarus is a multi-professional college that has been operating since 1945. This facility was built during the Soviet period. The complex includes both educational facilities and educational enterprises. It is divided into 4 parts: hotels, kitchen, enterprises for education and gym.Each of them is isolated from each other and located in different buildings. The buildings are connected to each other not only by sidewalks but  also by a bridge, which connects the two main buildings and creates the unity of the complex.Our team revived and modernized this huge building of Soviet architecture and breathed new life into it. Our goal was to preserve the look of the existing architecture as much as possible and to introduce new architectural solutions that will give us an aesthetic fusion of the new and the old.
